In 1998 he defended his thesis on “Viral hepatitis B in children: issues of prognostication of outcomes”. In 2005 he defended his doctoral thesis on “Clinical and immunological features of HBV infection in children infected with different genotypes of the virus.” The main direction of scientific activity at present is the study of clinical and immunological and epidemiological aspects of viral hepatitis, HIV infection, and some managed infections (rotavirus, pneumococcal infections) in children. Since 2013 – Head of the Department of infectious and childhood infectious diseases TMA (concurrently). From 2010 to 2012 he was the head of the Main Department of Sanitary Inspection of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan. From 2013 to 2014 – Director of the Research Institute of Emission of Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
From 2014 to 2016 – Deputy Minister of Health of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan. From 2016 to present – Rector of the Tashkent Medical Academy. Member of NEGI (National Expert Group on Immunization of the Republic of Uzbekistan). Coordinator of WHO in the field of “conducting research in the field of studying infectious pathology.” Chairman of the Scientific Council of Tashkent Medical Academy 07/16/2013. Tub.02. Professor of the department
He is an academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan (since 2000), an academician of the Polish Medical Academy (since 1999), an academician of the Academy of Medical and Technical Sciences of the Russian Federation. In 1969 he defended his thesis on “The issue of the clinical course of typhoparathyphoid diseases in children in combination with tuberculosis.” In 1986 he defended his doctoral thesis on “Clinical and immunological features of acute and protracted viral hepatitis A and B in children” in Moscow. The main area of scientific activity is currently studying the clinical and immunological aspects of controlled infections, the introduction of new vaccines, research into the study of viral hepatitis and HIV, acute respiratory and acute intestinal infections in children. Currently, he heads the National Expert Group on Immunization (NEGI). From 1990 to 2005 – Rector of the First Tashkent State Medical Institute. From 1990 to 2012 – Head of the Department of Infectious Diseases of the First Tashkent State Medical Institute, then – Tashkent Medical Academy. He was awarded the Order “Do’stlik”, the Order “El-yurt Hurmati”, the international gold medal of Albert Schweitzer, was awarded the honorary title “Honored Doctor of Uzbekistan”. Under the guidance of Academician Daminov TO. 18 doctoral and 40 master’s theses were defended. Among the students there are many large scientists, leaders and organizers of public health services, who work in Uzbekistan and CIS countries. He published more than 500 scientific papers.
Akhmedova Muborakhon Djalilovna

She is an academician of the Academy of Medical and Technical Sciences of the Russian Federation (2006). In 1982 she defended her PhD research on the topic “Anthrax (clinic and morphological characteristics of changes of the lymphatic system)” in Moscow. In 1994 she defended her doctoral research on the topic “Clinical course, outcomes and pathogenetic features of viral hepatitis B in pregnant women” in Moscow.
From 1991 to 2005 she was head of tropic infectious disease and epidemiology course of infectious diseases department of Second Tashkent Medical Institute. From 2005 to 2012 she was head of infectious and children’s infectious diseases department of the Second Tashkent State Medical Institute, later TMA. From 2000 to 2012 she was the director of scientific research Institute of epidemiology, microbiology and infectious diseases. Under the guidance of professor Akhmedova M.D. protected 2 doctoral and 28 PhD dissertations. Since 2008 she is Vice President of the Eurasian Association of infectious diseases specialists. In 2009 she was awarded with the honorary title “Tbbiyot a’lochisi”. Her biography was written in the book – “Famous women of Uzbekistan”. She is author of more than 400 scientific publications.
Magzumov Khamidulla Bashirovich

In 1975 he defended his thesis on “The morbidity and survival of salmonella in Uzbekistan”. The main direction of scientific activity at present is the study of clinical and immunological features of the course of brucellosis.
Is responsible for the FPK at the department. For 34 years he worked as the deputy dean of the sanitary-hygienic, medical and medical-pedagogical faculties. Among the students there are 3 scholarship holders of the President and scholarships of Ibn Sino and Zulfiya. He was awarded with a badge “Honored worker of public health services”. He is the author of more than 90 scientific publications.
Karimov Mavlyuda Turabdjanova

In 1995 she defended her PhD research on the topic «Interferon status in pregnant women with viral hepatitis B». She is the Director of the M.A. program in “Infectious diseases”. The main direction of her scientific activity at the presence is to study of clinical and immunological aspects of parasitic diseases. She is Member of Problem Community of Tashkent Medical Academy on Infectious diseases, Microbiology and Epidemiology. She is author of more than 80 scientific publications.
Niyazova Tajigul Akhmetovna

1980 graduated from Tashkent State Medical Institute on specialty “Doctor epidemiology”. From 1984 to 1987 he studied at the postgraduate specialty Infectious diseases. In 1992 she defended her PhD research on the topic «Study of clinical and immunological characteristics of primary and secondary brucellosis» in Аlma-Аta.
The main direction of her scientific activity at the presence is to study of clinical and immunological aspects of the treatment of brucellosis and acute intestinal infections. She is Member of Problem Community of Tashkent Medical Academy on Infectious diseases, Microbiology and Epidemiology. She is author of more than 90 scientific publications.
Shukurov Bakhtiyer Vakilovich

In 1997 defended the master’s thesis on the subject “Improvement of a Pharmacotherapy of Hepatitis B taking into account a Functional Associativity of MOS and IS”. The main direction of scientific activity now – Kliniko-biokhimichesky and immunologic aspects of parenteral hepatitises (В and C) at children. Author more than 60 scientific publications. At the 3-rd clinic of TMA are the manager of unit of adult infections.
Khudaykulova Gulnara Karimovna

In 2003 she defended her thesis on “Viral hepatitis C in children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia”. Is an independent competitor of the department. The main direction of scientific activity at present is the study of the clinical and immunological aspects of perinatal HIV infection. He is the director of the magistracy in the specialty “Children’s infectious diseases”.
From 2009 to the present – the main children’s infectious disease specialist of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Since 2007 – coordinator of the UNICEF project “Integrating HIV prevention, treatment and care in children into general pediatric practice”. Member of NEGI (National Expert Group on Immunization of the Republic of Uzbekistan). Coordinator of WHO in the field of “conducting research in the field of studying infectious pathology.” The author of more than 80 scientific publications.
Mirzajonova Donoxon Baxodirovna

In 2007 she defended her PhD research on the topic «Evolution clinics typhoid fever for the last 25 years». She is an independent applicant of the department. The main direction of her scientific activity at the presence is to изучение clinical and immunological aspects of typhoid fever, formation and warning of bacterial carrying. She is the moderator of the M.A. program in Infectious diseases speciality. She is author of more than 30 scientific publications.
Abidov Akramjan Burievich

In 2008 he defended his PhD research on the topic: “Clinical and pathogenetic characteristics of convalescence of acute viral hepatitis in the background of giardiasis and some aspects pharmacologic therapy”. He is responsible for educational work at the department. He is author of more than 40 scientific publications.
Aladova Lyudmila Yurevna

Since 2011 – senior lecturer of the department. The main direction of scientific activity at present is the study of the combined course of HIV co-infection and viral hepatitis C in children. He is the moderator of the magistracy in the specialty “Children’s infectious diseases”. Conducts classes with the Masters in children’s infectious diseases, participates in the production practice of masters, also teaches masters pedagogical skills. He is the national trainer for the program “HIV infection in children”. Author of more than 50 scientific publications.
Tashpulatova Shakhnoza Abdulakhatovna

In 2009 she defended her Ph.D. research on the topic: “The Effectiveness of percutaneous laser therapy in children with acute HBV infection depending on the acetylation phenotype”. The main direction of her scientific activity at the present to study of acute and chronic viral hepatitis. She is author of more than 30 scientific publications.

In 2005 I defended the master’s thesis on the subject “Features of the Interferon Status at Children with the Lingering Course of a Viral Hepatitis В and Its Correction”. The main direction of scientific activity now – studying kliniko-immunologic features of lesions of system of a hemopoiesis at HIV-positive children.
At department is responsible for students’ scientific society. Since 2014 is the secretary of the problem commission on the “Microbiology, Epidemiology and infectious diseases” direction. Author more than 20 scientific publications.

In 2000 she completed her residency program on “Infectious diseases” specialty in the Second Tashkent State Medical Institute. The main direction of her scientific activity at the present to peculiarities of the course of modern botulism, treatment of chronic viral hepatitis and acute intestinal infections. She is responsible for manaviyat and marifat at the department. She is author of more than 20 scientific publications.
